Painting is an acrylic on canvas. It is inspired by nature. The colours, patterns and intricacies in the leaves of plant caught my attention and decide to paint them in my style.

Komal Parmar is a Pune artist. She developed her childhood passion and obtained her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in painting from the very prestigious Sir J.J. School of Art, Mumbai in 2003.

    She evolved as an artist over the years and attained a distinct style of painting in acrylics. Her artworks are a reflection of her emotions and experiences. The paintings are made with a palette of bright and bold colours. The artist emphasises more on the process and journey of the creation than the final product. Simple and minimalistic work is a characteristic of Komal’s paintings.
