Art is my language, a reflection of the life I?ve lived and the moments that have shaped me. From the majestic Himalayas in Leh to the tulip fields of Amsterdam, each canvas holds a piece of my journey, a story woven with honesty and romance. Growing up with creativity all around me, I was influenced early on by my grandmother, the renowned artist B. Prabha, and nurtured by my teachers. Moving between cities and cultures from the vibrant streets of Mumbai to the serene spaces of Nagpur has deeply impacted my vision.
Pottery, prayer flags, the serene faces of lamas, the vibrant hues of Rajasthan, and the playful spirit of marbles have all found their way into my work, symbols of peace and life lessons gathered along the way. Painting isn?t just a process but a conversation with my canvas, an immersive experience where strength and happiness emerge from within. The girl in a turban, the girl in the pot these are not merely subjects, but memories, feelings, and moments frozen in time.
I see the world through my own lens, finding beauty and meaning in the everyday. My canvas speaks, and I listen. This is my meditation, my expression of life?s harmony, and the joy that comes with each stroke of color.
