Art has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, but it wasn’t until I gave up a fledgling corporate career to follow my heart that I truly embraced it as my calling. Born into a defense family, my journey has taken me across India, living in the lap of nature within far-flung Army cantonments and Air Force bases. This nomadic life has shaped my artistic vision, drawing me toward the beauty that emerges from the junction of everyday life and nature. Each painting I create is a celebration of these intersections, where reality is filtered through the vibrant prism of paint.
My process is deeply organic, beginning with inspiration from something in my immediate environment, often documented through photographs. Whether it’s the delicate vibrancy of florals or the vivid memories of places I’ve lived, my subjects are varied, yet each reflects my love for bright colors and the joy I find in the little things.
