In my journey of introspection, I have come to recognize the profound role of passion, poetry, and love in life a realization that has become central to my art practice. In a world where the pursuit of material needs and responsibilities often overshadows our basic instincts, I have felt a strong need to reconnect with the intuitive self and subconscious desires. This exploration has revealed the beauty of pleasure and the powerful, instinctual impulses that reside within us. My work delves into the intricate relationship between our bodies, minds, and emotions, particularly in relation to sexuality. Our bodies have their own rhythms, needs, and desires that are separate from our thoughts and emotions. I explore how the body responds to emotions, thoughts, and the very idea of sexuality. This exploration led me to shift from acrylics to watercolors, as the medium?s sensitivity and the unique absorption qualities of paper allowed me to more accurately express the nuances of this subject. My process is deliberate and planned, focusing on the careful construction of compositions that evoke a deep sense of curiosity and invite viewers to interpret the metaphoric representations within.
