I am a dendrophile a lover of trees and forests shaped by my early life in the serene hills of Shimla. Nature, with its abstract and elusive forms, has always been my greatest inspiration, drawing me into an ongoing exploration of the relationship between mind and matter. The organic beauty of trees, particularly those broken or fallen, captivates me. These forms become the foundation of my creative process, where I experiment with mixed media and acrylics to translate these natural shapes into visual expressions.
My process is highly intuitive, often evolving as I work. I take my time contemplating each piece from multiple perspectives, letting spontaneity guide my hand. Conceptualizing a piece can be a slow, meditative journey, and deciding when it feels complete is a challenge I embrace. This fluidity allows me to infuse my art with energy, ensuring that it?s not just a static image but a living experience.
Art, for me, is meant to be felt much like walking through a forest and being enveloped by the sounds and sights of nature. The energy I derive from the natural world flows into my work, where spirituality and symbolism merge. Inspired by masters like Rembrandt, Van Gogh, and Monet, I explore the interplay of light and shadow to evoke deeper emotions. Ultimately, art is a visual language of joy, peace, and contemplation. It?s meant to uplift the viewer, inviting them into the same tranquil energy that nature offers me.
